For fabrics woven with fine threads, you can use two 10 dent reeds to weave 20 ends per inch. Likewise, with two 12 dent reeds you can weave as fine as 24 ends per inch. It is easier than you might think.
Double weave on a rigid heddle loom – $75 – 5 hours
Double weave is one of the best reasons to use two heddles on the rigid heddle loom With a second heddle and a little knowledge, you can weave fabric twice as wide as your loom’s weaving width.
Hand Manipulated Weaves – $65 – 5 hours

You can plan an entire project using these special finger techniques. Two shafts are required – all looms will work including the rigid heddle. A beautiful sampler table runner will be the project.
